The Underground Infrastructure Conference (UIC), is the meeting place for business professionals involved in maintaining the underground utility pipe infrastructure.
Individuals representing water, sewer, gas, telecom and electric rely on UIC to learn about the latest techniques used in trenchless and open cut construction, rehabilitation and asset management. Major academic and industry sponsors offer seminars before and during the program.
Exhibitors showcase equipment and technologies used to maintain the crumbling utility piping systems. The education program qualifies for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Credit is granted by the University of Texas at Arlington.
UIC is the premier event in the United States focusing on the total underground infrastructure – construction, rehabilitation and asset management, using trenchless and open-cut methods. In addition to UIC, parent company, Gulf Energy Information, produces these high-quality and market-relevant titles: Pipeline & Gas Journal (serves the energy transportation business around the globe), Underground Infrastructure (sister publication to UIC and serves the construction, rehabilitation and asset management markets), Pipeline News (offers both the latest underground construction news and a compilation of pipeline construction projects worldwide that are planned and/or out-for-bid).
