HDD Hall of Fame

At the show, there will be a series of in-depth HDD-specific educational sessions, conceived and produced by the HDD industry. UIC officially begins on Jan. 26 at the Gaylord Texan and in the morning, there will be a full slate of educational sessions presented by HDD experts. The UIC Exhibit Hall opens at noon and at the Center Stage two contractor panels will be presented in the afternoon, one focused on big rig challenges and issues and the second panel featuring small rig issues and opportunities. 

The HDD Educational Program resumes on Wednesday, Jan. 27, with the introduction of the HDD Connect Workshop, the exclusive online training program created by the HDDA. The HDD Hall of Fame honors will kick off at Center State at 3 p.m. with an interactive panel comprised of the Hall of Fame Class of ’27. The audience will have the opportunity to hear from these industry legends and ask questions regarding their storied careers. 

 Next, the formal recognition and awarding of the coveted HDD Hall of Fame awards will be celebrated at a special ceremony during the HDD Reunion reception. Beginning at 5:15 p.m., the event will include food and beverages and be held at the rustic, open-air Mission Plaza within the Gaylord Texan.  

 For all participants in the HDD industry, old and new, the Reunion and Hall of Fame ceremony will be a time where history will be re-lived, tall tales shared and visionaries revered throughout the day and evening activities.
