Getting There

Oklahoma City (OKC) is where the Southwest, South and Midwest meet.  OKC is easily accessible from major cities via plane and automobile. Airlines offering non-stop flights include: American, Alaska, Delta, Frontier, Allegiant, Southwest and United.

Three major interstates connect with OKC. I-35 runs north-south from the U.S.-Mexico border city of Laredo, TX to Duluth, MN; I-40 runs east-west from California to North Carolina and I-44 from Texas to Missouri. OKC is a three-hour drive from the DFW area and a bit longer from Houston, roughly seven-hours.

Getting around downtown OKC is easy too. The OKC Streetcar connects almost five miles of hotels, dining, and districts in downtown Oklahoma City. This modern streetcar system is a convenient way to experience restaurants and nearby attractions.

Housing Scam Alert!

Poachers and scammers are constantly posing as official representatives of the Underground Infrastructure Conference (UIC) to sell unofficial attendee data lists and solicit hotel reservations. These companies are unrelenting and are known to constantly change their company and domain names… and so, without regard to specific names, beware of ANYONE soliciting on behalf of UIC.

Go straight to the source…The only truly authorized information concerning UIC will come directly from UIC show management and will be accessible through the show’s website and, if you’re an exhibitor, within the show contractor’s website.

The only hotel provider for UIC is the Omni. If you are contacted by anyone else, know that they are poachers and should be ignored.

And know that UIC will NOT release any “confirmed” or “verified” attendee lists so DO NOT be tricked into paying anyone for that information.

We partner with the hotel directly – not any travel companies whatsoever. If you are contacted by anyone regarding the rooms in our block, please be aware that they ARE NOT associated with our company or events.

These pirates have been known to lull individuals into thinking that a reservation has been made and end up stealing your credit card information.

Gulf Energy Information/UIC will not provide the hotel with your contact information, nor do we have control over the type of accommodations, rates charged, or whether you will have a room if you deal with unauthorized companies or people.

The ONLY way to be certain about your hotel accommodations for our conference is to book directly with the headquarters hotel via the link above.
